EXODUS - A project to try and push my environment/DMP work. All of the 3D terrain and textures were created using Gaea and then imported into Houdini. Rocks/Cliffs were created from primitive base geo and then ran through a series of volume and point VOPs to create higher detailed assets. Scattering was done primarily through projected heightfields where I used megascan plants and rocks to populate the environment. I also used Axiom to generate dust/smoke sims for the vehicle trails as well as the ship thrusters. Compositing was all carried out inside of Fusion and the final grade was in Resolve. A massive thank you to Aeph for creating the awesome soundtrack "Vicit Prime". I hope you all enjoy the final shot and breakdown!
