I'm proud to announce "IMMINENT II" the sequel to the original short cinematic that I created back in 2021. Ever since the release of “Imminent” I've always wanted to further explore the universe I created. In this short we follow “Ava” who also featured in my previous teaser for “The Aftermath”. When creating personal work, I always push myself and learn new techniques or software. In this instance, it was the first time picking up Houdini. All of the layout, environments, lighting, simulations, groom, rendering, etc… was done using Houdini/Redshift. It was a massive learning curve, but after the initial struggle everything fell into place and I fell in love with it.
